The ancient Cinque Ports of Rye and Winchelsea with their cobbled streets, art galleries, unusual shops and restaurants are a 10 minute drive away and offer a great opportunity for sight seeing combined with shopping, followed by a traditional cream tea or dinner. Rye Harbour and Dungeness nature reserves provide a perfect opportunity for keen bird watchers to while away the day.
Both reserves have dedicated shelters to 'hide' in and enjoy the vast array of water and land birds around.
